Transport in Londen: 50 jaar Victoria line + 20 jaar Jubilee line extension

In 2019 is het precies 50 jaar geleden dat de Victoria line officieel geopend werd. Daarnaast werd 20 jaar geleden de verlenging van de Jubilee line van Green Park naar Stratford geopend.

A set of nine design principles represent London’s rich heritage and contemporary culture while creating clean and uncluttered spaces

London Underground has launched a revolutionary new design vision, which gives Londoners an insight into the future look and feel of Tube stations. The London Underground Station Design Idiom has been developed with Studio Egret West, to ensure future station designs build upon the network’s heritage and provides customers with welcoming, comfortable and straightforward journeys.
